- Original License – $250.00
- Guaranty Fund Assessment – $100.00

Maryland Handyman License Education Requirements and Exam
To obtain a license, you must pass a 55-question examination with a score of at least 70%. The exam can be taken at testing centers located in Baltimore, Salisbury, Hagerstown, Crofton, Lanham, Frederick, and College Park. Testing dates are by appointment only and will be confirmed in writing. The exam is computer-based and two hours long.
